Trinity Alumni Association Nepal (TrAAN) has successfully hosted an event at Trinity College, focusing on Pride Month. TrAAN organized a program titled 'Pride Month: Proud to be Me’ as part of their planned activities. The purpose of the program was to educate Trinity College students about the significance of Pride Month, its goals, and the history and challenges faced by the LGBTIQA+ communities. Aaditya Rai, a gay man with disability was the keynote speaker of the program He is the President of Rainbow Disability Nepal. The event featured panelists such as Niranjan Kunwar, the author of Nepal's inaugural queer memoir titled "Between Queens and the Cities." Additionally, there were Parakran SJB Rana, a fashion Vlogger and stylist, as well as Samira Shrestha, a transwoman and professional theatre artist. The panel was guided by the mentorship of journalist Manika Bishwakarma. The program saw the participation of over 200 students who engaged actively in its interactive sessions.
